Road Safety Advocacy

We give the best Services

ROSAA’s Road Safety Standards Advocacy service is dedicated to setting a safer standard for road usage across Ghana. Through partnerships with local government, law enforcement, and international road safety organizations, ROSAA works to align Ghanaian road safety standards with global best practices. This includes lobbying for policy reforms, such as stricter traffic laws and vehicle inspection standards, and educating the public on these policies.

Approach & Methodology

Policy Reform and Support: ROSAA collaborates with government agencies to push for laws that enhance safety, like mandatory seatbelt use, stricter speeding penalties, and regulated pedestrian zones.
Community Outreach: Local workshops and town hall sessions educate road users on the importance of compliance and the impact of unsafe practices.
School Programs: ROSAA has initiated safety programs in schools, teaching children and teens about road safety basics, signaling, and responsible pedestrian behavior.
Impact

With a goal of reducing traffic fatalities by 20% in five years, ROSAA’s advocacy has seen positive results, including an increase in safe driving practices and community involvement in road safety initiatives.
